INDUSTRIAL

Curtis' Industrial Division is the backbone of operations at Canada's largest steel plant, seamlessly integrating services to optimize efficiency and output. Curtis provides a host of steel recycling services and by-product removal. We have the capabilities to process a wide range of bulk scrap materials that are fed into the Regina steel mill. We are frequently enlisted to process complex and diverse steel products such as large coils, rail lines and miscellaneous scrap steel. In addition, we provide contract car crushing services throughout Western Canada.
Curtis also hauls by-product produced in the steel manufacturing process, and hauls it to disposal facilities on a contract basis.
Curtis offers specialized rail and transloading services, which are essential for the efficient movement of goods. These services are designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics operations for Curtis’s clients, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and goods.
Curtis also owns and operates a private rail spur on the property which allows for the direct loading and unloading of goods from rail cars, facilitating efficient transportation. Curtis also provide material handling and offers yard storage for bulk materials such large diameter pipe, power poles, construction materials, aggregates, and other heavy goods. This ensures that goods can be stored safely before being transferred to their next mode of transport.
Curtis has a full-service shop, which provides maintenance services for heavy equipment and customized fabrication services for our own business needs, as well as for third parties.
In addition to in-house shop services the Shop also provides snow removal services to large municipal facilities and industrial customers.
